This place is amazing, it is all that you believe a old-time American cafe would be like. From the food to the feeling to the people who works there. It is most definitely worth a visit!

It's the place for great breakfasts!

Went to TRY & get lunch here for the first time & was super excited after reading such good reviews & how good the food was, & I was CRAVING a chili cheese dog, but instead I pull up at 2:03 PM to the door locked, and a lady opens the door and tells me sorry they’re closed already....? Wait, what?! Online and on the door says 7-3:30 Monday-Sunday. I’m upset about this and will more than likely never return to this place, which sucks because I love a good burger/dog place likes these, but that just lost my interest in every coming back here no matter how friendly or how good the food is. I mean, atleast offer me a coupon or something to come back instead of just closing the door immediately after telling me y’all are closed already. Rant over.

Yesterday was the very 1st time visiting and ordering food from Papou George. 1st I have to say THE STAFF IS 👏AMAZING!! EXCELLENT SERVICE and GENUINELY FRIENDLY!! 2nd THE FOOD, was DELICIOUS!! My kids and I REALLY enjoyed our breakfast and let's not talk about the home made pototoe chip. All I can say is Check them out.I highly recommend this eatery. They take cash only.

The food is great! I really like the French toast! The staff is very attentive and friendly. Steve, the owner, always make you feel welcome.

I tried the spicy Greek on pita bread! AMAZING! Everyone kept telling me to try the Greek sauce and it was so good. I like that I can watch them cook my food. My favorite part was that the manager/owner came and individually said hi and happy New Year to each and every guest. I WILL return and try more from the menu

Waited 10+ minutes when I was the only one there for 2 hot dogs. Lady came in after me got her food first.

Good chili dogs! Gone here several times with family, never disappointed. Staff is wonderful!

Food was amazing and very affordable! We tried their Chili cheese dog, homemade potato chips, fries, and cheese burger and it was delicious! This was our first time there, and I’m so glad we found this hole in the wall! They only accept cash!

CASH ONLY....Not the healthiest of places to eat. But it's so good. Burgers, hot dogs, fries, chips, fried pickles, even breakfast sandwiches...all taste great! Staff is efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable, especially their specials. I like the old diner decor. Recommend.

It is a cozy little restaurant with a lively atmosphere. The food was hot and service was commendable even though the place was very busy. Enjoyed the french toast, home fries and greek sausage which were delicious!

Pappy George's has always been fantastic. Prices are more than reasonable...they just can't be beat. The staff and management are friendly and courteous, just like being a part if their family 'where everybody knows your name's.

What a neat little diner! Really yummy food that tastes homemade in a good way! The atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff is what makes it such a fun experience! I had the Monte Cristo last visit.. My mouth is watering just typing that!

I have been wanting to try Papou George's Hot Dogs for a long time. I finally did and I was very happy with their food and service.

Everything is good. Should be on triple d. Colossal burger has burger and pastrami. Potato chips are made to order.

Food wise it wasn't really anything to write home about. It'll satisfy if you have a craving for hot dogs. Chili is run of the mill, fries are standard crinkle cut fries. Employees seemed friendly enough.

Cash only, breakfast/lunch only. The spirit of a late 1950s diner is still alive here! Personal pride by the owner, great friendly service, and good quality grub. Standard hotdogs/hamburgers/BBQ, plus some Greek specialties and comfort food. Discerning wife and picky kids loved it and are already asking to go back, which is the highest award a restaurant can receive in our house. Fairly priced.

Came into the restaurant and was greeted with a hug and a handshake from the owner definitely different the workers are very knowledgeable and to tht point.These two meals came up to 16.89 definitely reasonably pricedwould have paid more anywhere else and would not have mind to pay more for the experience and the quality that was presented to me in this establishment..... Until then....

Hidden Gem!!! I wish I could tell everyone about it and at the same time tell no one so I can keep it all to myself! The food is delicious and you can't find a better staff anywhere. They treat you like family the min you walk in the door.

Steve the owner along with their stellar crew take the time to know you when you come in. The food is amazing on top of that!

Love this place. Steve the owner is wonderful and so is the staff. The breakfast is off the chain so good oh I love the pancakes with the hot syrup, the real butter and their homemade potato chips are delicious. The steak is melt-in-your-mouth good not to mention their hot dogs. I love their hot dogs. I'm a fan of Hot Dog King but I love Papou George's. Very friendly Pet Place like going into cheers.

Satisfactory but wasn't impressed. My husband and I didn't dislike it but have no intentions of going back. Wasn't worth the money.

I love their food. Breakfast is always amazing, I love their Gyros and fries. The owner is fantastic- hes a hugger. The atmosphere is great. Love me a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. They close early so get there early!

It's a diner, the only thing missing are the rails. Healthy portions served quick and hot and everybody knows your name by the second visit. And everybody comes back for a second visit! Good coffee!

Delicious food and great service make this place a go-to for locals and travelers alike. Home made dishes with traditional Greek sausage as well as hot dogs, burgers, and breakfast served "all day". Bring your cash or ATM card though as they don't take credit. "The best country fried steak I've ever had!" -this guy

One star is way too generous for this hole. The most UNPROFESSIONAL owner and so called “manager” who yells at their amazing employees like they are dogs IN FRONT OF REGULAR CUSTOMERS! Don’t waste your time.

This is a cool place for snack food. I love being able to come in here and grab a pair of dogs. My favorite so far is the chili with the cheese. It comes smothered.

First time going today. Lunch special 2 chili cheese dogs and a fry. 7.49 .... kinda expensive when 2 chili cheese dogs are 2.29 a piece... Owner was very friendly and welcoming. I just don't see where this is a special. Otherwise I'm happy

Ok, came in just to check the place out; grab some lunch for the wife and I, head home, chow down, then discuss the experience. Awesome atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Owner greeted me, asked if it was my first time, told me I will not leave hungry. Noticed how clean everything is including the staff's care of food and the grill. Ordered two chili cheese hot dogs. Charred on the grill, prepared, and served hot. Oh yeah, I'm coming back next time for breakfast. Closed daily at 3. You got to give this place a try.

I've been coming in since I was a little boy. Mr Steve and the fam are super down to earth, and genuinely loving people. One of the few mom and pops we have left, a locals fav. This place has something, first watch and all those others don't. History. It's simple and it's one of the few all Americans left. ✌👌🤙
